Story
group-寸法師 is a Bosozoku Street Gang from the 70s.

The Kanji means "Issun-boshi" (The One Inch-High Samurai; A small boy who never grows bigger).
Initially, it's name is based on a fairy tale from Japan, that is still very popular to this day.
They're known for showing enormous courage and self-confidence, riding & fighting with honor and bravery despite their relatively small size.

About
Made on order patch!

An embroidered patch with the “HOOK” option selected is an embroidered patch whose back is equipped with a rough surface made of small hooks.

This “HOOK” surface lets the patch firmly attach to a surface that has the opposite side (the soft side with loops, called “LOOP”).

It’s a removable and very practical attachment system: you can put the patch on and take it off easily without permanently sewing or gluing it.

Most shops sew the hook part onto their patches, but we offer a version with the hook glued to the back of the patch, for better visual quality.

The soft “LOOP” part (the fuzzy side) is not included with the patch.

In that case, you must either:

  • have an item (clothing, bag, etc.) that already has the “LOOP” part, or
  • buy the “LOOP” part and then glue or sew it onto the item, bag, or surface where you want to attach the patch.

IRON-ON / THERMOSTICK is a type of embroidered patch with a special heat-activated adhesive (thermo-adhesive) on the back.
"Thermostick" = "Thermo" (heat) + "Stick" (adhesive).

You glue it by placing the patch on the desired fabric and by pressing it with a hot iron (or heat press) for a few seconds. The glue melts and bonds the patch to the garment.
It’s a fast, no-sew option for attaching patches to jackets, jeans, bags, hoodies, etc.

Note: While convenient, iron-on patches are often less durable long-term than sewn ones (especially after many washes), so many people sew them as well for extra security.

  • 1: Cover the embroidery with a piece of parchment paper or some cloth (neither too thin nor too thick).
  • 2: Set your hand iron at the hottest temperature (without steam !) and move the iron in a circular motion for 10 seconds as you apply pressure on the patch.
  • 3: Take a look at the patch, verify that the stiches aren't burning and repeat the circular motion for 10 seconds.
  • 4: Allow the patch to cool down for a few minutes.
  • 5: Try picking gently at the edges. If it peels up, then you need to iron it just a bit more. Be careful not to over-iron!
  • 6: If the patch seems glued correctly, please allow the patch to cool down for 10-20 minutes and repeat step 5 to make sure it's well glued.

Iron on is best on cotton fabrics & denim. Avoid using on synthetic materials.
Fabrics that are too smooth or too rough will not handle the patch very well.
In that case, it's better to sew it for long-lasting support.
Always test a small part of your clothing first with the iron before you apply a patch.

Wash the item inside out and wash it on a gentle setting or by hand!
The product may fall off after several washes, so if you can and know how to: add a few stitches to sew the borders of the patch to ensure that it's very well maintained!

Enjoy your patch!
